Willamette Week illustrations
I typically do one or two illustrations a month for the Willamette Week lately and I realized I haven't really been posting them...
I work closely with the Art Director, Maggie Gardner(edit to add: and sometimes Ben Mollica too, who is a fine upstanding gentleman!), who always provides clear concepts and even some basic sketches to get me started. She's awesome(and so is Ben!).
Extreme workout article. The girl on the right was actually interacting with the headline bar and not floating.

Article about Steve Novick who ran for Senate and actually does have a hook for a hand.
I may have posted this one? I had to caricature someone who was also getting electricuted. Which was tough!
